First Hose enjoyed a productive and highly successful 2013 where the company achieved significant growth over the period. 

A third unit was leased at its Bridge of Don premises to increase office and workshop space while new warehouse facilities were added to increase the company's stockholding capacity. In addition, the company extended its yard which is now fully enclosed with security fencing.

The investment in new facilities was made following the award of a major contract with a large service company in Aberdeen for hose and fittings worth approximately £1m per year over the next three years with a further two on year options. In addition, the company employed a further six new people.
